92A  The original main house apartment ...

The living room and two main bedrooms overlook the river.

There is a queen bed in the main bedroom, a queen plus single in the second bedroom and a single bed in the third , little bedroom.

 

Where 92C is a new build from mostly reclaimed materials, 92A is a refurbishment of the original 1950's. house. We were lucky (unusually for its time) to find it had very large wooden picture windows along all the river-facing windows in the living room and two front bedrooms. We've tried to maintain all the beautiful parts of the era including the curved ends of the hallway and fireplace, the hardwood kitchen cabinets wardrobes and the bakelite door handles, (like the old bakelite telephones of that time).  

 

The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen and a single bed. It also has a tv/dvd. On the south side of the apartment are a bathroom, separate toilet, another small bedroom with single bed, hall  and kitchen.

 

The kitchen has a second dining table, gas cooktop, oven, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Also, pantry with complimentary drygoods, such as cereal, tea, coffee, flour, sugar, rice, etc.

 

The bathroom includes a bath as well as shower. Toilet with separate vanity is next door to bathroom.

 

Parking is just outside on our side of the street for this apartment - just normal residential parking with no restrictions - the steps down are well lit at night.

 

Amenities such as complimentary Pay TV (Netflix) and WIFI, washing machine (and washing powder), dryer, large DVD collection, childrens' craft and toy cupboard and pantry of drygoods such as cereals, tea, coffee, flour, sugar, and rice are common to both apartments.

 

The bottom garden facing the river is a communal area with access to the 8x10m rabbit enclosure which has rabbits you can feed by hand and cuddle, (when they are in the mood). They have mostly come from the RSPCA. Click on the YOUTUBE icon to view them.

 

A barbeque area overlooking the river can be made available by just letting us know (a couple of minutes' beforehand is fine).

 

No pets, no parties or smoking on the premises.

 

Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 10am.
